Your first faceless business video

The AI Marketing Edit Editorial · Updated October 10, 2026

You do not need to appear on camera to explain what your business offers. You do need a clear message and visuals that support it.

1. Choose one viewer and one action

Start with a specific audience rather than “everyone.” A residential cleaner might speak to busy homeowners; a bookkeeper might address owners struggling to organize monthly records. Write one action you want that viewer to take, such as requesting a quote or reading a service page. Avoid asking them to follow, subscribe, buy, and contact you in the same short video.

2. Write a three-part script

Use a hook, an explanation, and an invitation. For a fictional cleaning business, a simple hook is “A clean home. A lighter week.” The middle can show the service in action. The ending can say “Request a cleaning quote.” Keep the script short enough to read aloud naturally within your intended duration. Treat 15 seconds as a starting format, not a universal rule.

3. Build the asset list before generating

List the footage, photos, logo, and narration you need. Use your own material or assets whose license covers your intended use. If you use stock imagery, check that it does not suggest an actual employee, location, or completed job when it is only an illustration. Do not turn a generated “before and after” into a claim about your work.

4. Create a draft and edit deliberately

Use a video editor or AI creation tool to assemble the idea. Give it the audience, duration, orientation, tone, scene list, and exact call to action. Review its choices. Replace irrelevant footage, remove unsupported claims, and shorten captions that disappear before someone can read them.

5. Watch it as a customer would

Preview on a phone, both with sound and without it. Can you understand the offer? Is the text readable? Does the last frame identify the business and next step? Only publish once those answers are clear.

A faceless format is a presentation choice. It still requires accurate information, suitable assets, and a recognizable business identity.
